I have been looking around at wheels. Out of the hundreds of different wheels to choose from, I would really like to have a set of these:

This evening I took my grill apart and painted the mesh black and put a red background behind the Honda emblem. Just experimenting with some different looks.

I think the starter is going out. It will barely turn over. Tried jumping it with cables. Fail. Put a hot battery in it and still barely turns. I will try another starter tomorrow.

It was the starter that went bad. I had another one, put it on and it starts great now.

Also, I removed the radio and installed the mounting bracket and reinstalled the radio.

          So much to do.

I have now gotten all the body work basically done now ready for paint.

It is in black primer. I think it will be driven like that til spring. At that point, touch up some other bodywork and repaint the whole car.

Thanks very much. Yeah, I am trying to plan it out so that it will look good when done. Trying to read up on prep and spraying this color.

Crazy mikey- my dad has a coupe similar to yours. It is a dd that he rebuilt the head with some used parts. He has been driving it for 6 years with basically only just a fuel pump relay going bad. That car just keeps on running. Its crazy.

Thanks. Yeah. Everyone was fine. And yeah it came together pretty well. And the bags didn't deploy.

I will have some more updates on this.

Some folks already know my car has been sold (actually a while ago). Its too long of a story to explain here. Some things happened that I did not have control of and yes i made some mistakes and things happened that led it to being sold. I really hate that it happened but anyway the guy that has it now, has it for sale. There are two reasons keeping me from going and buying it back : 1 - Its so close to Christmas and the funds are just not there and prob will not be there at least for a couple months. 2 - I really really liked the whole setup of this car with the color, year model, etc. etc. Except I am wanting a 5 speed. I know they can be swapped but it seems like a tremendous amount of work with everything involved. I am debating finding a 5speed car and everything else i know how to do or change ie color, int color etc etc.
I will keep weighing out the options but am leaning toward just finding another one. I know if i be patient and get everything in order it will all work out for the best in the long run.
