Thanks Mikey. A couple bugs to work out of the system, but all in due time. I'm just enjoying the pure speed of it right now. lol

It looks like you left the Skunk2 manifold off of your list. Nice car though. The H22 gearing must be crazy low with the turbo.

welcome to the realm of, "my car is costing me my relationship"
and boost doesnt help that fact.

but oh well, if they cant enjoy your hobby and enjoyment you don't need em!
plus then you don't have to buy purses and shoes and all that crap.

time for pistons, and random chicks!

Wow thats some considerable tq drop after peak. Gotta get a nice tubular mani /w a wastegate dump tube that vents in the direction of air flow...so the wife gets so mad she just shuts up.

Yeah, I've noticed that. I was trying to be spiffy and keep my a/c and p/s but it's turning out to be more trouble than it's worth. The condenser seems to be blocking airflow so it tends to overheat. The tubing with the limited spacing was a pain in the butt which is why it's got a pretty simple manifold. I'm thinking of ripping the a/c out and hope that cures my temp issues. And would love to get a better manifold too.

lol yeah. And more to go once the savings account is built back up after the family moving.

you can get a tubular mani and keep ps/ac but it requires a lot more work.

Thanks dude, I appreciate it. The battery is in the trunk. Hid the cable under the side trim to try to keep it somewhat cleaner.

I get a Mishimoto intercooler, fairly short one, had to cut the front bumper to fit it in. It's a tight fit but it looks decent. I'm thinking of taking out the a/c just for the extra airflow. It's frustrating having to plan an extra half hour or more to my trips so I can pull over and let the car cool down. lol

how thick is your intercooler? whats its dimensions? You know you can relocate the AC's lines to a sidemount, or even use a sidemount intercooler /w ductwork.

Also getting a vented hood will DRASTICLY help, and adding vents in the fender areas will also help. Any air vent where it causes a negative pressure(vacuum) against the vetn will help cool your engine bay down considerably.

Consider sanding and painting your exhaust as well with some high temp paint. it does a pretty good job of making things a bit cooler and keeping rust away. Its also much easier than header wrap IMO. Even more so if you got a friend with a bead blaster.

Also I'd try to find a way where you can actually put an intake pipe and filter on the turbo. its not good to run one without a filter at all. You'll want to buy a filter made for some kinda 6.6L turbo diesel, such as an AEM dry flow, one of the best filters on the market aside from the amsoil one personally I like the dryflow better.

Does your wastegate dump to amosphere or back into your downpipe?
