no it does not step down, its wanda base & u-tech clear .. my whole car isnt even wet sanded or buffed yet .. ima do it in the spring after i finish painting everything i want done...

so did you just use enough clear so that it doesnt step down from the paint? what was the process as far as prep?

i love how you painted the hood. i want CF but still not sure if i want to leave it or paint it to match. if i paint it ill probably do something like yours. or i was thinking of making a vinyl decal of the circles in my sig and putting it on in the top corner of the hood to use as a stencil then paint and remove it.

i figured i,d get a few more pics before i tear my cb apart for a few months it should be back like some time in may i take my time on the engine bay plus alot of new parts going on soon .. im gonna have my crx as my weekend car till its finished ill post a new mod list maybe tonite ..
