Really sorry to hear this Mike. Makes me start thinking harder about better anti-theft protection for mine. Did you have any kills switches or anything?

Unfortunately no, no kill switches. My old white coupe had an alarm with fuel disconnect, this one was still untouched and completely stock. Had lots of plans for highly secure stuff but didn't think it was that necessary since the car mainly was never shown around town and basically had nothing done to it. I had pretty much only finished putting the Koni/Neuspeed suspension on it, and the Rota wheels, when it was stolen - so I guess that's enough to do it. I still have all my aftermarket parts, but that car was a perfect specimen that I will never find again...

Still on the fence about what to do in the future, I guess I will hang onto the primary part of my collection of parts and just keep an eye out for a shell someday. :\

As time separates me from the emotion of it, I still know that the car I would most prefer to have is a CB. Anything else I would consider buying would be significantly more expensive, and probably more bland and less fun and fitted to me. Fortunately we are dealing with cheap cars here, just a couple grand at most, fortunately it wasn't an NSX or something. I hope I can find another clean coupe someday, they are becoming more rare and I don't know how easy a rust free one will be to find again. Though now I have the midwest within reach, rather than being limited to basically just southern east coast (florida) like last time when I was living in NY. I assume there are areas out here that don't see rust? Like Arizona/West Texas?
