    The beginning:

This CB7 is my second CB7, my first was this 91 LX:

I had my eye on a green EX for a while and the day I decided to go down there with cash in hand, the guy had just sold it... but he had this one so I "settled for the DX".

Was originally going to do the whole car flat black, wanted to try using plastidip before I bought a few gallons so I got 10 spray cans of black and did this. Was really impressed with the stuff, been throwing around a lot of different ideas for what to do for the whole car but I keep bouncing back to gloss/pearl white.

Peeling it wasnt too bad either, the white plastidip I'll be doing certainly wont be my last.

Thanks? It actually looks like shit right now, corners peeling up all over... Looking for a good thick clear coat to brush on over it.
There are few instances where I can tolerate sticker bombing, this being one of them.

                First Roadtrip in my CB7

My brother Alex who was visiting from Montana, my girlfriend, and another good friend of ours all crammed into the Accord for it's first roadtrip around Labor Day.

Alex is a fantastic photographer and took plenty of pictures on the way, and was kind enough to snap some of my car.
You can see more of his stuff here:alexandersuntitledphotos

We set out from Wasilla, Alaska and we drove 300 miles to Homer, Alaska.

Along the way we met up with our mutual friends who live in Kenai, and partied it up with them the whole trip.

We camped on the beach both nights, though it got very windy both nights. First night we couldn't escape it, I slept in my car.

Second night we found the best camping spot I've ever been in, and if any of you are ever in the area pm me and I'll fill you in.
It was a little patch of grass and trees on the beach free of wind and full of beauty.

                Was great.

                Fin.

All photo credit goes to Alex Lindgren.

                  No love?

Well if anyone is interested i'll be driving to Seward next week to pick up a Volvo 240 wagon we bought. I also just got a Lumia 1020 with the 41 megapixel camera, so naturally I'll have a bunch more photos to upload.

                  RIP my last two CB7s.

41 megapixels...I want a review of that phone too. You should post up in the iphone thread in OT.

I'm loving this start! I wish I had clean slate because I butchered my CB when I was younger....I should call my project The return to stock.

                      Just posted a brief review

Thanks. I know what you mean... My first accord had zero dents, scratches, rust, etc... But I decided to spray all my chrome a cheap black that flaked and I stenciled the monster energy logo on my fuel door.
If only I knew then what I know now.

                      RIP my last two CB7s.

                            sawbladez

Scored some cheap 97(?) Accord sawblades on Craigslist.
Sanded the chips and scratches then plastidipped them white.

Loving the look. Makes me want to go low worse than ever.

EDIT: The next day I flipped them so they faced the proper direction.

Nice score on the blades. I hope you don't slam when you do lower the CB; road trips won't be the same.
