i like the red/clears alot, and i'm still lusting over that paint job!!!i wish i couls do what you do as far as body work goes cuz i got some 1/4 panel rust and my hood is chippin.I have to figure out a way to get this mofo painted for cheap...

Good luck with the clutch change, are you planning on doing it your self?it shouldnt be hard but i would make sure the car is JACKED up high and something to roll the tranny out when its dropped. If you have air tools good thing, if you dont, unstake the axle nuts, go to sears and get a 3/4" drive slider bar and then go to homedepot and get a 6ft fence post, it worked well for me.How bad is your 2nd gear grind?can you avoid it if you go easy on it or does it grind no matter what?i was curious how well synchromesh works, update when you can.

haha the body work wasn't that bad to do... just time consuming i hated it, just welded on some new sheet metal, filled it with bondo... the paint i did in my uncles garage, he taught me how to do it and i did it..

the clutch change is gonna be done by me yes, i've got it all made i'm doing it at my work with my boss (hes like my big brother, he drives a 98 prelude... stripped completely, got a 75 shot of nitrous, its fast) and yea we've got our garage with a lift, air tools all that stuff....
i can avoid the grind in second gear if i let the rpm's drop all the way before i shift... but my friend works at dobles and hooked me up with a discount for the synchromesh so i'll let ya know, i should have it done sometime in the next month or two... but its not really that big of a rush for me

edit: they're all reds too get it right!

haha well i was given the truck for free, i just had to put about $600 into it and get it running...

its been fun i've taken it into some mud already and its done me good, had it up to about 2 feet of water (not that much i dont think) but it still did good..
the only bad thing about it is it makes me miss my car

After seeing the LX wheel covers back on your car for the winter I think ALL LX's should get alloys; they look WAY better. The Flowmaster sounds real good. Thank you for the link, it makes the decision to get the same muffler a no-brainer. I have the 70 series 2-in 2-out for dual exhaust on my Yukon. Deep enough to be noticable, but not so loud that it's annoying to drive with the family. The drop looks perfect. That's the way Honda should have sent them out of the factory.
It really is a labor of love making a neglected CB7 with "normal wear and tear" into something worth being proud of.

thanks for the replies guys, sorry i havn't responded earlier i was too busy on a cruise

but yea, i think all accord's should have alloys lol... and thanks for the compliment on the drop... i played around with it for a while and decided thats where i liked it, i just need to get it aligned (sp) and then throw my camber kit on... but i'm hoping to have it back on the raod in the next few weeks, just gotta pick up 2 new tires and a slave cylinder for when i do my clutch and i'll be good to go
