nice... i like how you painted the tails... and the door handles w/o keyholes looks good too.... are those just door handles that you pulled off of a DX or something? or did you buy them from the dealership? either way, which model cb7 are they off of?

i did buy them from the dealership. they are the rear door handles for a 93 lx. i didn't have to go about getting them painted, since i was able to order the color for my car. they were 69.69 per side- so 139.38 total. i had no idea how to put them on myself, nor did i really have the time, so an acquaintance of mine put them on at a body shop. apparently the driver's side handle is easy to do, it's the passenger side that is difficult.

i got them in a roundabout way, so to speak. i was parked at a local mall for maybe 15 minutes, and someone tried to break into my car by jabbing something (screwdriver?) into the keyhole... i didn't notice it at first since i have an alarm (need to add that to my electronics list), but i went somewhere else, came out and saw a hole where they keylock mechanism should be.

i thought of just getting my handles shaved, but i figured that 1. could be more hassle than it's worth and 2. if for some reason i end up getting an h22 and want to take it to the track, i'll need physical door handles.

            thanks.

i got up real early this morning (6 am, which is later than i get up when i don't have a day off ) so i could beat the heat today!

i wish i had access to a better camera and better photo skills.

Nice car, of course, how's it going neighbour? LOL! I just noticed the fitment on your CF hood is kind of loose around the grille and headlight area, or is that just because the angle of the shot?

                    actually, the hood fits well.

i've messed with the grill a bit much, and lost a screw in the process... actually, now that i think about it, i actually have the screw, i just haven't put it back in. i've been wanting to paint the mesh and perhaps the outer portion black... but i haven't gotten around to it.

                    good catch though.

sad to say, but the greddy lip is no more.

driving down north ave towards moreland yesterday afternoon, i hit a number of mini floods. at one point, while literally driving in the middle of the street because of all of the water, i heard a crack that sounded likea big tree branch. i would find out later that it was my lip.

the only things left are the corners near the fender well. drove through the area later and didn't see the lip. guess it washed down the street, maybe some homeless guy has a greddy lip, lol.

i didn't even get a chance to take digital pics!!!!! i only had it for about 3 weeks. ah well, you live and you learn. hopefully i'll get a cd made from the film and be able to post what it did look like.
