Yeah man, I haven't taken pictures of my engine bay yet, but I painted my heat shield with BBQ paint, and I painted my valve cover Blue with engine enamel. it looks sick.

I just washed her today, and I bought new 6x9's. Damn my box hits really hard for just a 10. I had an idea for another project, but I need some more insulation, a 10, and some PVC pipe, about 3" opening. Then the beast would be unleashed.
I will get another ten someday, but for now I'm liking my setup. it's light and hits hard enough for certain. BTW what system are you running?

Me im running a single 12'' Orion XTR2 series, a lightning audio stike series subamp...400w rms i believe and a prefab box...i might eventually have this dude build me a custom box for cheap...he knows his shit real well and he is trying to get in good with our car club so while the pickings good i might have him make me one but well see...i got more pressing matters at hand!

o and like yea i got a 2 12 box just sitting around over here just my dude ran for a while with two of the same subs i got(he blew one and gave me the other) and that box fuckin hit..its sealed real good and everything..so if i could track down another Orion XTR2 then id run 2 12's but they are discontinued..last of the good shit so itll be hard finding one

Yeah I got a Walmart setup fosho, but it sounds great and I like it.
2 220w 6.5 up front
2 240w 6x9 in back
1 800w 10" in trunk.
600w 4/3 channel amp on backseat.

hits hard and loud.
I am going to combine to DIY boxes together and use PVC in between the partition to help amplify and help airflow distribution.
I've heard of people doing similar things, but as far as I know I am the only one to do what I am doing. I just need some new accumat to insulate the other box and go get some liquid nails and PVC at Lowes.
I think it will be pretty nice afterwards and will sound as good as two 12's.

Yea i need to get some new front and rears....i was going to either get some pioneers or MTX...gotta see what i can afford...i kind of want a new HU too..one of the new pioneers would be nice but i really need to just save up for an indash navi system so i can have headrest monitors tied into that indash monitor.

aww fuck i wish u woulda said something earlier i found one on ebay for like 10 bucks so i bid on it...i looked for one out of a 2001 with a BIN option but none..hmm well maybe if i get outbid ill take that offer if its no problem but i doubt im going to get outbid over a 10 year old clock...maybe??

I'm still gonna get a couple of them tommorow and clean them up, then I'm gonna make a for sale thread with a bunch of crap that I'm gonna get.
I think i'm gonna pick up a set of headlights tommorow so I won't need yours after all, thanks though.

Hmm coo...im yea i didnt join to deploy i joined to get away from home and get some schooling...i havent been deployed so no hazard pay..thats the only time you get it but i clear 1700 a month so its decent...umm other then that yea i wanted to deploy so i could come back with 30k and fuckin go ape shit...i was going to get either an IS300 or a 300z...hmm now if i deployed after seeing this site i would come back and get a nice 5spd wagon and jdm the fuck out of it with a nice swap and either boost it or NA and hurt some peoples feelings. ! Well yea let me know and ill let u know if i need anything from that SE...take a look tomorrow and let me know what stands out as far as being nicest...ok thanks dude!
