the DIY reflector was made using a tin can

cut a part of tin to cover the bottom of the HID bulb, lots of trial and error

no output pics as yet, but its much better than no reflector at all, the throw is deeper, and there is the flare

still need to improve on the size and angle of the reflector, more room for improvement

will keep u updated when i have the time

the F20a sohc and dohc came from both the CB3 and CB4, the CB4 being 4WS

officially, in Malaysia, we had the F20a Sohc, in carb and PGM-Fi (9293)

The 2.0 Si's here were grey imports (reconditioned) from Japan. Thats how my late grandfather got this CB1. there are also CB2's (F18a 4WS), but rare, and the big daddy CB3 and CB4's, both in Accord (SM4) and Ascot (SM3) models

before i had the H22a, i had the F22a JDM CB9, so its the same as the F22A6 with dual runners.

there arent any marks bro, its a straight up DIY, didnt even take off the bumpers, LOL

just used a simple cutter knife, a marker, a piece of paper and tape. oh yeah, and a candle toheat up the cutter blade

took me about 2 hrs to do it.

i was talkin 2 the guy where i got my motor and he said they come from honda ASCOT. the f20a sohc.

i see alot of people here sayin they have things from cb3. cluster and wat not. ahh so many codes. im loosin my mind

the Ascot is the twin to the Accords, they share the same chassis codes (CB) but have different model codes, the Ascots being SM3, our Accords are SM4.

mechanically, the SM3 Ascots are similar to our SM4 accords. both had the CB2 and CB4 4WS models

the ascot name was dropped and later replaced by the Torneo name in the CF3/4 generation.

there was also the Ascot Innova (European Accord, SN7 code)

just an update on whats been happening for the past few weeks

23/06/07
got her a new pair of boots (205/50/16 Falken ZIEX 326's for the front) to replace the undersized 205/45/16 simex's. my meter was off by a substantial amount. got a fair trade for the old tyres too

unfortunately, when we wanted to take off the right front, the lug nuts snapped! then another one snapped too.

so i drove home with only 2 lugnuts attached firmly (i already broke one stud while installing the tanabe's) with the left having the new tyre. LOL. what a day.. without aircon, under our sweltering heat.

i took the studs from kidd262's prelude rotors (all 8, just to be safe) and drove the car to a buddy's workshop near my house (2 min drive)

to our amusemnet, ALL the studs on the rightside snapped like crackers, LOL

so thank goodness i brought along the whole arm assembly (both)

and to top it off, one stud on the left also joined the bandwagon.

also got replacement lug nuts (used) LOL

replaced my aircon compressor.

was hard to get a replacement DENSO 10p17c compressor, so i had to pull one off a CF2 halfcut.

serviced my aircon system, filled up with R134a and was charged the good side of 30 bucks for the labour and gas

the compressor was 70 bucks

08/07/07
gave her a well deserved wash and vacuum, a well as washed my mums odyssey and my dads merc (had extra car shampoo in the bucket, LOL)

then proceeded to clean my rim lips (just to remive the tarnish) using Autosol, but my fingers werent up to the task. ahahah

i need a dremel.
