I have very very specific goals for this car, none of the extras are leaving. JohnD1079, remember I'm in Tx ! A/c isn't leaving! And I plan on autox'ing this thing more than drag, I want instant steering response. I've driven my car without ps(slow leak that's pissing me off, I finally figured it may be coming from the pump itself) and it's not going to work for me. This is not a civic project for some kid. I am getting older and this may have to take care of my kids in the backseat before too long, this is a DD. My goals are to make something perform, look good but in a more mature way while retaining all the extras. I think 'i beat a mustang!' when you are in a shell of a car while fun isn't so practicle. I drive this thing 6-7 days a week, you can lose everything but the steering wheel more power to ya! but not me.

    NOPE~!

    look again here...

Now you see?? I know I need to neaten it up a bit if I can... I used a bracket that was holding the fuse box up and bent it a bit to hold the large wire loom in place. I've had plenty of little near impossible wire problems with this car and loose wires are my worst enemy so I am not leaving them to budge even a little.. I need to make a bracket or tie down that fits behind the pillar more hidden, I know, but for now it's not bad compared to where all that wiring was before.

    TUCKIN Pt2~!

note: 1. everything taped up nicely 2. removed the windshield washer system as I've already had the sprayers off the hood 3. moved the alarm where the washer tank was 4. the A/C wire connector moved outside, had to lengthen a ground wire for it to reach it's original location behind the p.s. tank.

lol regularly? I'm hoping to have the tuck finished today, just trying to reference some others for how i want to run the driver side. Already got it out and a wire lengthened just figuring how I'm going to run some things and I'm good..

and Nail the bypass valve is a lifesaver, been through a few bad rains since and my car doesn't bog down anymore. Even though I want to boost i'll keep this in the meantime!

as for updates other than this project I'm just trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to go about wrapping the interior. Custom dash anyone?

I like what youve done and I like where your going with this.

I dont know if it looks chopped or not. The only thing i dont recognize is the one bolt thats on the side of the shock tower.
    the upper control arm bolt??

    thanks for the props!

regardless all that smeared line is going to get smoothed out quite a bit, im hoping to at least start shaving today or tomorrow.

But if thats what ya want, then by all means,, but when you get your car painted... spraying the bay the same color is the way to go.
Ok, what's the downside to that? I can't stand it now, it'll look worse with 1 engine color + 3 colors of bondo not to mention rust color lol... is it harder to paint at a shop if i did get it done some day once rattle canned?
