*H23 Intake Manifold runners and fuel rail installed
*removed exhaust shielding and hung exhaust
*fresh oil and oil filter
*removed FR sway bar for new bushings and paint is possible

needed to get running
*header exhaust gasket
*IM gasket
*Honda manual trans fluid
*install radiator/fluid

idles great, pulls great. time to build suspension and brakes. when the money persists....

raced my first autoX May 23 and first Team practice of the season.

car runs great, i like the non power steering for racing, i feel the ground way solid. batteries going in the trunk, smaller steering wheel, alignment. soon.

*installed direct air ducts, 3 - 3" piping, 2 into engine bay, 1 to passenger brake's/suspension(eventually to brake's) from fog holes

4 people in my class, FSP. i took 2nd in FSP. 1st was 40.247, i was 40.421 or 00.174 away from 1st.
TOP Time - 14th/30
PAX - 6th/30

3 people in my class, FSP. i took 1st in FSP with a 39.791, 2nd was 39.996. I only hit 1 cone all day! and was consistant @ 40.7XX, 5/10 runs. BUT a full second faster on my fastest time...?the run just felt real well.
TOP Time - 13th/30
PAX - 6th/30

my competition was a 79 VW Scirocco, 89 VW GTI and a 89 Honda Accord

i learned a lot of things about my driving and things i NEED for Dragon!(named her finally a couple months ago..) the very first sticker i put on the car when i bought it and is still on the car, 3 year 3 months later, its a Dragon 'sun glasses' sticker. it kinda fits


car is down until wheel studs are replaced

cross threaded, 2+ years of racing, dismount/mount race tires at events, different lugs, cross threaded...

my CB7 will be down for all of July and August, if not through September. i wanted to hold off racing the first part of this season but that didnt happen, i got the itch to drive my car, so i participated in 5 events, so far. Now that its kinda down permanently as for wheel studs....i can focus on my list o parts and what needs to be done first. these last 5 events really helped me on where my car needs to be before next year. so for the next few months i am going to try an knock out a few items and finish off the season with another 4-5 events...

Ive yet to put much time into the car so far.
*removed battery and cables, put battery in the trunk, where id like it to sit

*adjusted direct air towards intake(half ass for now) also adjusted/ziptied direct air pipe(BUT im working something out to delete the far passenger pipe..leaving only 2, ONLY engine bay air ducts)

nice wheel studs btw! lol. don't fear the work for the studs, when i broke a wheel stud, all it took was some crazy ass hammering.. no need for machine pressing!

working for a ski resort this winter, in California, Bear Valley. pretty sure the car is coming up there with me but id like it to stay in the garage here at my friends house where it would be safe. I have my 2 studded tires but i think i'll end up purchasing chains. my header is cracked, will replace with an a6 header or ive found a used DC. need to clean the icv again, oil change soon, fogs might go back in, since its winter, saving for parts and living expenses for my return to Oregon to run Central Oregon AutoX/Motor Sports.
