soo...i got my timing belt and everything together last night, and as i expected, when i turned the car over, i heard that oh so familiar knock of bent valves, which sucks, so...i think the car will be staying away another year , but the head will be getting fully built up like i want it to.

ohh snikkeeeessse.. so i am curious are you putting a manual tensioner back on next time...? it's only like around $100. i have one and still running strong,, haha,, sorry bout the delay in your build,, hope it's not to damaging on your motivation .. i wanna see that thang run!!!!!

thanks man, yeah ive been working on it ALMOST everyday since last august (no lie.) and its finally turning out to be kinda something. i took the head to the machine shop yesterday, i bent 3 valves, so its getting a port and polish on hte exhaust side, 3 angle valve job, and i ordered +1.0mm oversize valves, dual valve springs, and ti. retainers all from skunk2. so ill get that all in and run stock cams for now.

looks good kinda like my ride sweet you got the bumper pole. might wana fix that crack in the bumper and give her a grilll, but those are minor, keep doing what you doing

cleaned up rims, stripped them of wheels and tires, and painted them!!! wooooot!
