it was quite bitter outside so i only took one shot at it

i think the wind moved the stand on this one^^^^

Camera is a Canon Rebel XSi
    Settings:
    ISO 100
    Shutter Speed 25"
    Aperture around 8.0 i believe
I love this camera, mind you ive never taken a photography class in my life. thanks for looking!

Next time, point the flash toward the car body and walk around the car. You should like the results much better.

It is by turning up the aperature (larger number) and having a slower shutter
speed, typically to do something like that you will need to have a really long
        shutter speed.

Try setting the shutter setting to BULB and using tape (or buying yourself a trigger remote) and take longer exposure photos than 30 seconds.

What do you mean by using tape?

Set camera setting to this: (but not ISO or F stop, used what i used last except i changed the shutter speed)

Use tape to hold the shutter button down in BULB to get longer than 30 seconds of open shutter time:

remove tape after you are finished with your exposed shot. then the shutter closes.

Thats the method i used when i didnt purchase the wireless/wired trigger

the bulb setting allows you to open the shutter for as long as you can hold the shutter button, or if you have a remote, until you click the remote again it will close the shutter.

A good alternative to taping your camera is a $15 wired remote release.

I now have bought 3 different remotes. I owned 4, but now 2.

tricky, but its what i worked with when i was still on a low budget and barely got into photography on my old xti.

I have 1 for still photos on a begginner (non steady) tripod.
And one with extended wires for my auto rig kit.
