^^^ Nice! I think you've posted pictures of the girl in the bottom right.

Here are some with my new Canon 28-90 III. Expected kit lens cheapness abounds, but the glass quality is a little better then I thought. Regardless, I just picked it up for the walkaround factor and since it was practicaly free lol.

        Not to shabby.

This 5d really cleans up images. It has a lot of resolving power.

Yes .. I might have. Mary is always a pleasure to work with .. natural.
I do a 6x9 printed card every year. Great to send out to past clients.
Or even new potential ones. Printed on 10# stock. The black is flat, not glossy,
and it really catches some eyes .. I got about 5 months to finish it.
Prolly make 1001 changes before then .. ug!

That 28-90 is very, very nice .. I like my 28-105 just as much.
And I too am surprised by the "H" setting on my 5D's as well.
As long as you're not doing too much cropping .. it's really not "too shabby" at all!

          Nice sharp, clean images Ralph!

Insane lighting .. aperture? ISO? Shutter? That 85L is one nice lens.
I'm just bummed that the top on the car is black ..
The white body separates sooo well, then you look at the top and go .. grrr ..

The possibilities with lighting something like this is just ..
I'da brought like 3 friends and had um hike up the girders with slaved flashes ..

But I really like angles and the tones. Be a good B/W also!

its not black on my calibrated monitor.

lighting was just natural light, and i think i was around f2 and 1600 iso

I went out and shot some of my friends at the most recent autocross event in St. Louis and decided to just photograph everyone out there for practice:
