Can you identify this vacuum line?

Hi, after removing the cruise control, i saw that the vacuum line that is going to the cruise is also going in the driver side fender by a T union near the shock tower. I would like to delete this line but i dont know what is in the fender yet, can you help?

    here it is:

the arrow is pointing the line that goes in the fender from the union.

It's a little black vacuum container, similar to the air bypass next to the battery. One 10mm bolt. Can be removed from taking the fender lining out

The only thing there was the cruise control. I would just cap it off at the intake manifold and delete it.

Just to add to this, the vacuum resivoir is there to provide vacuum to the cruise control unit during all engine loads. For example if your climbing a long steep hill with the cruise control on, your actual manifold vacuum may be close to zero, but the cruise control unit needs vacuum to operate. Essentially it will used the stored vacuum in the resivoir to operate the cruise control, until the engine load comes back down and manifold vacuum comes back to replenish the resivoir. Air movement to the resivoir is plumbed through a one-way check valve between the resivoir and manifold vacuum source.

If you simply disconnected the resivoir, you may notice that under some circumstances your cruise control would stop working, if say you were climbing a hill and making changes to the cruise set point (basically the cruise unit would not have any vacuum to work with then). It would be recommended to just leave it as is, to keep the cruise control working properly.
