            Thanks, everyone!

Things are going well. We celebrated our 1 month "anniversary" (being a former Latin student, that irks the living hell out of me!) yesterday. It was an excuse to buy a cake, really.

I have a fast car... a 400+hp 2006 CTS-V. A monster of a vehicle, in every way imaginable. Twice the weight of the Miata, four times the power, half the fuel economy. I love it, but it is everything that the Miata is not... and the Miata is everything that the Cadillac is not. It's a perfect balance, IMO!!
Variety is the spice of life as they say. Always good to have another car that is soooo different it makes hoping from one to the other feel like a fresh new experience again and refreshing... well that is how I feel when I jump from a roadster to sedan and to a coupe. Never feels old unlike only having one car. But look at my list it is a curse...LOL

How drivers can plough in stationary vehicles is beyond my comprehension and how they are allowed to keep their licenses. My Dad lost a good 1st Gen Civic that way when someone took a corner too fast and swiped the parked 74 Civic. This was just recent also when the car was already a classic.

I believe you when you say the CR-Z is overlooked. It has one of the best chassis and has similar charm to the CRX of 88 to 91 EF's.
they also have the same political dilemma as the old CRX after all these years. Some markets still do not allow them to have a rear seat (just like the old CRX's) and some do the rear seat conversions. Don't know why the rear seats are not authorised yet we have rear seats on some cars that virtually have the same draw backs of being small like the 206cc, Porsche's 911's etc

One thing I love about the CR-Z is also the fact its hybrid can work like a boost (similar to F1) unlike other hybrids. Shame Honda didn't highlight or market that enough. I also bought a JDM 88 EF CRX with real original ZC engine

Yeah, the electric motor on the CR-Z is closer to an electric supercharger in its function than it is a true "hybrid" system. The thing gets worse fuel economy than my old Fit did, with the same engine! It's a terrible hybrid, and a terrible sports car... but a great car nonetheless. Feels high quality. I've contemplated the rear seats, but there really is NO room back there. It would only work if we had a friend that lacked legs!

Only 6'0. The seat isn't even all the way back! I do have to literally fall into the car when it's parked next to the curb in front of my house, though... the car's floor is lower than the curb!

Congrats man! I have to say you don't look like a fella who owns a cb7 (did) or a Miata for that matter. No way you fit in that Miata :P

Glad you got to get out of the country, that library would be breath-taking! Can we a picture of day #1 with your cb7 for reference to show how old you're getting on this site ?
