The drivers side is from something different. I don't know what. Only the passenger side from the 08 Accord will work.

i like the idea. It just sucks that you will have two different styled wipers. i tried doing research to see if there was a perfect match size for the blades but they dont match our car. The 08 accord drivers side is 650mm and ours it is 600mm. its only a 2in difference but i dont know if it will stop the wipers from working on our cars.

I like the beam style of blade. It seems to wipe and perform better.
But, Rain X or Bosch run $20 each, so $40 every time you want new blades.
After some research, I realized that the newer Hondas had this I beam style, with replaceable inserts. I had the blades leftover from my moms old 08 Accord, and the passenger side works well.

        Le video:

        Drivers side:
76620-SLN-A11 for the "beam" $27.88 Rubber included, good to go
        76622-SLN-ALL for the "rubber" $5.75

        Passenger side:
76630-TA0-A01 for the "beam" $free, already had it
76632-TA0-A01 for the "rubber blade" $5.28

I'm particularly proud of this one. Nice and cheap and a good upgrade.
Driver side is from '08 Fit
Passenger side is from '08 Accord

I've run into an odd problem with these.
Occasionally (keyword right there) the drivers side one will go a bit too far and hit my trim. But only occasionally. The rest of the time it's fine.

sort of off topic but is there a tq spec for the acorn nut that keeps the wiper arm on? i cant find one so i just tightened it up until it doesnt jiggle anymore.

This looks like a nice mod, good work!

Did you ever find out the issue with the driver side and the trim?

I'm sure there is, but I have no idea what it is.

                  Thank you.

No, I didn't. I can't find a definitive time when it does it or not. It does it more on the highways, but not all the time.
It's not bad enough to make me need to fix it, it's just peculiar.
I guess I have loose and sloppy wiper arms

My wipers do that with the OEM CB wipers. So, it has nothing to do with your wiper blade setup.

Hmm. That makes me feel a little bit better.

This seems like a good idea. The ones I have are slightly elevated on the drivers side.
The wiper arm isn't in-line with the actual wiper.

This is sweet. I hate how the aftermarket uniblade styles dont get 100% contact on the windshield...either that or when your driving on the freeway and the wiper blades come down they lift and dont do squat.

I tried michiellens, and rainx. Went back to bosch spring style and it was all good.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

                          Retro!

These do lift slightly, but not a ton.
I took my car through the car wash the other day. First time in 8 months.
Terrified me going through the blowers.

So what's the word on these?

How are they holding up a year later?

                                Are they worthwhile still?
