Steering is slipping?? Help ASAP!

Well a problem came up today. My steering is slipping when it gets to the left half of the wheel. It's not my steering wheel slipping on the nrg adapter because it happens when the wheel is off too. It makes like a grinding sound and today i just took it apart and re did the nrg set up and tightened the 19 hub bolt. Still is happening though. Any suggestions on this?? Thanks in advanced!

maybe you didnt alighn the teeth marks on the steering column,just like when installing your stock steering.

Found it it was the rack and pinion, got it off yesterday and sending it to rock auto for a replacement one since they have a lifetime warranty gonna be out for a week or so tho :/
