ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    What is your MPG?

I thought i would start a thread to see and compare gas mileage..also you may want to include engine mods and other variables that would factor into your results.

My gas mileage as of right now is 22mpg

i'm always amazed when i see ppl getting over 26 mpg, how are you guys calculating your mpg?

I set my trip meter when i fill up and when the gas light comes on divide the number of gallons it takes to fill up my tank by the miles I drove on the previous.

my gas light never worked and it doesnt work in my prelude either
when my needle hits the last mark is when i look at my trip-o

im usually at 350-400 and if its all interstate
then i get 425-450 miles on the trip o meter.

i kno im either running rich or lean and i think i have an exhaust leak.

Stock F22A6 w/ OEM tuneup ( wires cap plugs ) SRI no name filter or intake direct air intake scoop. clean motor well maintained. A/C and A/T FTL ( but im thankful for it sometimes. )

Im getting 25 with an auto f22a6, Short ram. Changed o2 sensor 2000 mi ago. plugs/wires/pcv 500 mi's That was with some heavy footed times though... It could (and will...) be better. To find mine I waited untill the gauge was just above the red, put 4 gallons in it, and reset the odometer.
It was at about 104 mi by the time it got back to the same spot. 100/4= 25

About 28, mostly 50-60mph. I worked it out by figuring out how much gas I go through getting to and from work every week - I don't often go elsewhere.
