ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    17x10 Rims?

is anynone running rims that are 17x10. If so can you please share some pics.

    Thanks.

That's a tight fit. Alot of stuff factors in. Ride height. Offset. Tire size. Your either gonna have a high amount of poke or a scary stretched tire. 17 x 10 is alottt. But anything is possible to do. Find out what the offset is. And are yu lowered? If so. How much?

I don't even think a rim that wide will clear the arms without spacers and shit. Then your shit will poke out more than it already would. IDK, might look kind of foolish.

Unsafe without a lot of money to just waste.

        Good luck.

I think my rims are 17 x 10 ( gotta check ) my tires are 225/55/17 (rear) 225/45/17 (front) and I have no clearence in the rear, front is okk , but then again the rims may be 17x8

Alek77 ran 9.5" wide wheels in the rear.
10" is possible if you know what you're doing.

huh. clearance was the main issue i was seing as well. The rims im looking to buy already come with tires and they don't really look stretched at all.

The offset on them is 35.

I always have the option to go with the 17x9's but the 10's just look like monsters.

ill post pics of them when i get home from work.

My friend elvis has 17x10 wheels on his cd5. He's lowered not sure how much, with very little camber.

Crazy ppl stick rims that wide on a fwd car.

17x10 is insane and unsafe for any kind of daily use because of camber.
