turbos & glass packs

I put a thrush glasspack (32 inch or so) on my cb7 when I first got it, it was raspy and sounded like angry bees when just pulling off. I put it right after the gutted cat. This made a big difference. The type of muffler that came with the car was an oval dual tip DTM, there was no resonator with the aftermarket/patch job exhaust.
I used a "turbo" muffler on my crx-hf when the OEM one finally rotted away, just a cheapo one from advanced forgot the brand. It sounded good nice and quiet thru the powerband. At about 3k it had a nice deep sound kinda like how WRX's sound. I found myself speeding alot because I liked that sound. On the highway there was cabin drone that was pretty annoying but I found a DTM tip at walmart that I had welded on so it extended past the bumper a few more inches then what the tail pipe was at and that took care of it
