Is is the same polishing/wax procedure as the rest of the paint or is it a softer approach?

a good while. i painted some moldings on a civic 5 years ago and they're still hangin tough. later.

great DIY i was gonna replace my moldings with new ones but i might as well do this since its better and it makes them look good

Ok i havent really looked at my Moldings .. but how do you remove them from the car?

the guy from my body shop told me that you can access the door moldings by removing the inside door panels.
i dont know if this works for our cars.

According to type G, there's some strong adhesive tape holding the moldings on to the door in addition to the stuff that's holding them on from inside I think. He says we're better off just painting them on the car because they can be damaged during removal.

yes you access the bolts by taking off the door panels

and yes there is double sided tape and they are a bitch
its doable but tricky, as for the clips....say goodbye to all of them lol

where can i get good double sided tape?
