Best way to put on emblems?

Looking for a quick answer, and not sure where I would put this.

I recently painted my trunk, and all the emblems are removed, and I am trying to find a good way to put them back on.

What do you guys use for putting emblems back on to make sure they stay through bad weather, car washes, etc.

    Thanks.

Hulk strength double sided tape. 3M is pretty good, and commonly used. Or you could just use some super glue if you don't intend to take the emblems back off.

local auto parts stores have a glue made for emblems, holds them on and doesnt pull the paint if u take them back off.

I've tried 3M double stick tape. Didn't work. There are some amazing products out there, I used 5 minute epoxy on my last set of emblems, because I wanted to leave them on so didn't mind it being permanent.

the surface probably wasnt clean when u tried to stick it on. i used that on my 2.2i emblem and its never came off. if anything a lil trick with a heatgun right to the double sided tape before sticking on will do the trick. making it all tacky to apply.

I used Gorilla glue on the v6 emblem. Still on there after 2 years.

Each mating surface was clean, but under that particular circumstance just didn't want to adhere. Probably too humid or cold it was the end of November when I did it.

Metal cement maybe? I've used gorilla glue for something else before, works wonders. But damn, that'd be a wee bit too permanent too I would assume. So it depends.

3M double-sided foam tape, automotive grade. It MUST be applied at 50°F+ in order to set properly. Also, be sure to use rubbing alcohol on both your emblem and mounting point on the car. The alcohol will help activate the tape.
