Most of the people on this site will say the same thing. I have KYB GR-2 shocks up front, and Koni STR.T shocks out back. The Koni shocks are probably the best money I have ever spent - hands down. The KYB shocks are showing some loss in dampening ability already (10,000 miles in with Tein S-tech springs), but have provided a good ride.

They are both good shocks, but the Koni shocks come out cheaper and are genuinely better in terms of quality.

GR2's SUCK and Koni STR.T's DO NOT. Koni for sure has a lifetime warranty, KYB supposedly does, but they are the SAME price, and the Koni is a WAY WAY WAY better shock.

The price of the Koni's off Neuspeed's site is comparable to the price of the GR2's that I've seen anywhere, like summitracing.com, which is often one of the cheapest.

Also, have you had a shock other than a KYB?
