Facebook User - My car as profile

So I get a facebook message from a buddy...

Upon inspection of his Facebook profile picture page I see my car as his
profile pic, and another meeber on here in his profile pics (1clean92)...


Should I be honored or upset?

Umm...I'd probably be sorta of annoyed that someone is using photos of my stuff without permission.

However, any photos you post online can easily be saved and linked by anyone who views them.


I had a similar thing a few years ago with my Celica. A couple years after I had scrapped the car, I found some photos of it on someone's webpage, I think on Cardomain, saying the car was theirs. You could clearly see it parked infront of MY house, with MY licence plates on it, from Ontario. This member said they were from PA.

I emailed the user and basically asked WTF. They said "your car looks just like mine and I don't have any photos of it."

I promptly contacted Cardomain admins to remove the photos with proof that they were mine.

I don't think he's using the photo trying to make the claim that it's his because he has other cars too. Yours is probably the closest thing to what he likes and wants so felt it should be his profile pic.

Anyways, glad to see you still on here! I just got back from Iraq a few weeks ago. Getting settled back in. It's been too long!
