R32 RollCage Build and Pics of the New Shop!

What up people! Don't post a whole lot anymore but thought I would share what i've been up to lately. Me and my brother just opened up a shop 2 months ago and I just got done building a rollcage for a VW R32, heavy car but pretty cool none the less, it's an AWD hatchback with a 3.2L VR6.

    Here's the Shop!

Here's pics of my little Fab area

    Where the Magic happens lol...

Here the R32 cage, I wasn't able take pics of the building process. However, it's not finished I still need to add door bars and gussets to it.

Not my best work but I think the welds came out ok considering how hard it is to do...

Yea the Accord was actually given to Tony AKA:Raceboy on here after I parted it out. Just lost interest in it really. I've been wanting to build another car for awhile but I'm going to wait. I've been spending car money on new tools and it's been paying off little by little lol Still need a few big tools to really start building the things I want too.

Also that R32 aint small lol It weighs in over 3000lbs and sucked up about 80ft of tubing for what you see there lol 1 diagonal for the x brace was 56" long

Is it going to be strictly a track car? Beautiful fab work though but damn 80 ft of tubing???

Yea it's a track only car. R32 stands for really expensive Golf lol My brother is an awesome mechanic so at the moment we specialize in Auto Repair. I'm starting school next week so I won't be "working" a whole lot until I graduate in june, then i'll jump in full time. We would both like to get into performance but it's nice to have regular jobs that pay the bills in case there isin't too much of that type of work. I still need a few tools but I can pretty much weld anything and my fab skills are getting better. Welded some Titanium the other day and that was by far the funnest thing i've ever worked with. I'll end up doing side jobs though while i'm in school. I can build cages, front-mount set ups, hand made exhaust, intakes things like that. I haven't had the chance to make a complete manifold yet but i'm going to try to very soon.
