Drop is perfect IMO (personally I would go lower but that would prob rape my exhaust). If you know how cali rides everyone rides dumped. If you aint tuckin tire GTFO is pretty much their motto.

they drop is more than 3 inches. i have illumina shocks set right now to 2 in the front and 3 in the rear for winter. but it ride very good for the height and rebounds nicely. i usually run 5 all the way around in the hot seasons.
