dvd drive speed

what is the best dvd drive that u can get for your computer? and what is the best speed?
mine is like x4 or something. i dont really know much bout the drives but mines really slow sometimes and its starting to make me angry

All in wonder DVD-CDRW that can burn anything.

Faster the drive doesn't mean better though in my opinion.

Sony sucks in my opinion. They're only good for 2 years then dies. I went thru many of them.

Speed: they are up to 20X right now
Price: $30 bucks [microcenter.com and the store has it for that price]
brand: samsung will only last 6-9 months... i went through 3. My sony is up to 1.5yr, no problem. Really goodbrand Lite-On,Pioneer.... but they will be more $$$

don't really buy the LightScribe Hype...since its only monochrome and you have to get special dvds.
