    hid blowing fuse

ok what is going on i got my hid kit 3 weeks ago plug and play everything ok. until today i noticed my driver side light and sidemarker was out. so im think i blew a bulb but i cant because if i did my sidemarkers would still be on. (i splice wires for the sidemarkers to the headlights) so i noticed i blew a fuse i put a fresh 1 in turn the lights on and i hear the fuse blow i tryed different #s still all of them blew. i disconnect the head lights and put a 20 fuse in and the sidemarkers light right up. so do any1 know what the problem would be

Yeah jo0 iz overloading teh main harness by splicing the sidemarkers with the headlight + having a hid kit does not help at all.

You need to get an additional harness so the HIDs can draw power directly from the battery. I just got my harness for my GTP today It's sitting in front of me at the moment.

I got it from this guy:

$15 shipped (paid $45 plus shipping for the one in the CB7!) and it looks really good. Nice thick gauge wires. I highly recommend it. Icedplaya123 got his harness from the same guy, and it's been working just fine.

        Maple50175 - you're annoying =P
Brandoncb7 - I don't mean to come across like an ass but I see why you irritate Aaron now.

I think using hid's draws less power though....
