94 Galant

Hey guys, my sis has a 94 galant and about 2-3hrs ago, it started puttering (even when you accel) like it wants to shut off due to no gasoline. We put gas in the tank and same issue. The inside smells of gas, so i'm thinking maybe the fuel pump/filter is going???

not sure how to go about this, so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

P.S: whatever idea/suggestion is made, i will work on it on saturday

take one of the sparkplugs out and see what condition it's in. later.

I thought about doing that, and also opening a little bit the filter to see if gas is coming up.
