OT is kinda made for post whoring... not to a certain extent, but still... There is a fine line. To be too restrictive in the forum where people are supposed to speak their minds would be pointless. If anyone saw the thread on AT a while back when CB7tuner was down, you'll know what I mean. The words "moderators" and "Nazis" were used in the same sentence

Not that I really care about what people think of me, or my fellow moderators, for doing the job we're given... But it's only fair to allow people to be people. Basically, I allow anything here unless it's flaming, improperly posted (like technical threads, or picture threads...) SOME things that are blatant whoring are removed.

Whoring used to annoy the shit out of me... as a mod especially...

but I've come to realize that you have to respect the straightforwardness of it... there's no bullshitting about it being done simply for the post count or amusement's sake...

whereas if you clamp down on it... you get a different kind of whoring... mainly in tech threads, lots of wrong info and posts just to post... I can't really explain it very well... but it's better to let people do what they please within reason in OT and keep the tech threads tech oriented without cluttering the issue... know what I mean...
