There were some differences in the posting options. When Steve converted to this new version, he took pains to make it look and feel as much like that old version as possible. That's one reason why updating this version now is going to be tough... I don't want to change too much!

yeah he went through a couple software upgrades, making sure each new one matched the old style as closely as possible.

i remember all the upgrades and changes along the way... i was the one who made those little light-up H logos on the main forum list
