i wanna get started spinnin sum stuff. but im stuck between digital, or vinyl. so wats ur reference and wat kind of turntables and mixer do u hav?
wat wud be a good starter set-up?

an old socal member was a DJ. he stuck with digital since it was more cost effective and efficient.

i'd say stick with whatever you get the "feel" for...i got the feel for Vinyl..but these days other dj's are goin for the others. I mean i do the laptop/digitals too but mostly vinyl.

but o yeah...hahaa i never had any gear....my parents held a dance bar back over in Fresno, California and i had uncles and buddies with gears set up there already. I learned over there and used their stuff, but now.........-tear-....bar is shut down. Stupid location. But all my dj gear (Headphone and 1 Vinyl i...cant find, lol) is on hold since then and now..been savin up for an h22 though

yea i think digital is just the way to go these days. just cuzz yea it more effecient. i hav a lot of cd's so my frendz think that that wud be the best for me. ive wanted to go down to guitar center off the 405 and harbor i think, and just ask wat a good starter set is.

Mixer I played: Can't remember, i think it was Numark.
Spin: Techno/Trance/Breakbeat/Drum N Bass/House
All Vinyl and sometimes digital.

o yeah...i forgot...i also spin the real Freestyle for those bboyz/bgirlz
