The thing I feared the 2nd most ...i wrecked my 2006 impreza well i wouldnt say i did THAT STUPID FUCKING DEER DID!!!!! i was headed with my bro and dad to SLC and got 15 miles out of town and here came 6-7 deer 2 wer in the road and 4 or 5 on the right side, now i started to slowing down but not too quickly cause i saw the 5 on the side just grazing and the 2 on the road running away, but then just b4 i got to the 2 on the road the one behind turned the fuck around and BAM!!!!! mashed up the core support pushing everything into the engine but not pushing the engine back, folded my hood almost in half didnt touch the windshield and slid right over the car, it obliterated the passanger light but only cracked the drivers one, and didnt touch the fenders so i dont think the insurance CO. will total it out but im kinda hoping so. What shocked me more then anything is the air bags didnt deploy..wtf , everyone is untouched, wierd thing is i didnt even freakout which is probably why noone got hurt i just calmy pulled over and shut off the car then started punching the air bag, man i was so pissed, oh well it just a car, i took it alot better then i would have if it was my accord.

also this crash messed up the abs so now its always buzzing it probably still is as i type, and in supprised it didnt come barreling through the windshield im guessing the hood deflected it, but i split the deer almost in half, i should have gotten apix of it

if the car is considered totaled if i get as much as im hoping im gonna pay the last 6k on the loan then either get an 04 sti or 03 evo, or i may just get another accord and put the rest of the enigne build on hold for a bit and just run it with the stock internals, which is fine with me casue ive already ordered all my jdm parts for the outside, but if its not totaled then all i have to pay is 1k and the build will go on

thanks josh and everyone else , if its not totaled once I get the check for repair costs I'm gonna buy all the parts and fix it myself that'll save me a few grand in labor, I've got all the tools i need, plus It'll be fun

Whenever i see deer, i dont lock em up, but i slow WAY the fuck down. Those things ARE like squirrels, they see you and just run right towards you. If youre barely moving or stopped, least they can jump or try to avoid you.
