Bought a Bike

08 Harley Nightster, OD Green/Black. I'm pretty pumped. Been wanting a cruiser for a good while now, so yeah. I'm in a good spot to pull the trigger on it, and it's time for some changes anyway.

The VRods are faster by a long shot. This is the fastest cruiser they have tho. Didn't really get it for speed tho. I just want something I can enjoy and not have to dread filling with gas.

On a bike, you don't really need to be that fast anyway. You could run 15s on a bike and it'll feel faster than your truck. Well, maybe not... but you shouldn't be running 15s on a bike anyway!


If I get one, I'll probably get a Honda Rebel... a girlie bike, but I don't care to go fast without being surrounded by metal, and it'll be nice and fuel efficient!

I hear ya....... and fwiw, these bikes will run mid 12's at 105ish stock, all day long. But again, that's not why I got it!

That thing is PIMP! Ya know, I started out on an old Honda CL175, lol. That was a cool little bike.

The straight 6 on the CBX fascinates me. That, and the rotary bikes... I want a bike with an oddball engine! There was a later model CBX with a 500cc turbo engine too.

Disappointed it is a Harley, but the OD makes up for it. Best looking Harley I have seen in a while.
