    *Help* Overclocking problem

I am posting this for Dr.Love'sKuDang.

He overclocked his computer by adjusting the bios to auto-overclock.

It booted fine to windows, he ran a 3dmark program to gauge performance, walked away from the computer for 5 minutes or so and then everything was off. No sound, nothing. When pressing the power button, nothing happens, no lights no fans, it's as if the computer is not plugged in.

What do you think it could be? Fried mobo? Killed the power supply?

    Has any else experienced this?

do you have proper cooling for overclocking? also, overclocking with FSB instead of the multiplier (if its unlocked) is a lot more effective but you need a good set of memory sticks that can take faster bus speeds. i haven't overclocked in such a long time so im a bit confused by that auto-overclock feature you got there. what mobo is it? The way i did it back in the day is bump up the FSB first, then multiplier if it was unlocked and raise the voltage a bit if it ran unstable. cooling was always numero uno on my list tho
