    damn my friend has a 96 ford explorer 2door and that son of a bitch is quick..no shit he chirps third everytime and everyonce in a little while he'll catch 4th lol does anyone on the boards have one of these cause they are fun.

        hell yea dude..that bitch is soo top heavy, but its fun to drop third going into a corner and when you go into fourth you get a decent chirp, will chirp 4th on straight way though.
        i guess they are a little torquey

          i used to think chirping the tires in my truck was fun too... untill i blew a U joint that sent my driveshaft flying around underneath my car, and somehow destroying my transmission...

              you're trippin, the 4.0 5 speed in my friend's ranger is slower than the stock motored 4 door that i drive.

                I chirp third. Chirping tires has less to do with power and more to do with the ability to shift quickly.

                          I am trying to help sell my friend's 1996 Exploder XLT AWD. The market's just not there due to high fuel prices.

                          It has, however, a 5.0L Windsor V8, which I understand can take performance parts from a Mustang. I haven't tried it but I hear these can be real barnburners.
