eesh. I suggest you pay the consultation fee for a local attorney who is familiar with the courts/judges/processes of your city/county.

In addition, its not going to be cheap; I pay $180/hr for my divorce attorney.

yeah i know. I did pick up a lawyer already. it's 10 grand total.

I just need more advice. I want to get a good idea of where I stand. And i'm positive if this happened in Chicago, I wouldn't even be in the crap i'm in now.

Criminal depends on what city the crime was done in as well. I know my boyfriend is paying $91 per month plus $20 a week for a class their making him take and he has to pass it or he has to retake the class (its like a 3 month course). And the shit he did was nowhere near what it should have cost him. His court fees were $300 and that's not included in the $91 per month he has to pay He's got probation for 1 year also and spent two days in jail.. if you need some help aim me.. im online right now

I meant that ticket from 5-6 years ago is the only thing I have ever gotten before this.

Trust me. I wish this was a speeding ticket. Even if it was a 7000 dollar speeding ticket. But it's not. That's why I'm looking for advice.
