Cops Suck

driving to work today and a cop pulls me over today...
said i modified smog... with my DTM exhaust...
and then he told me to pop my hood... and said that i can't have a filter... then he said what's with the blue lights... i said they're not plugged in... then he said that i can't have them... and then took pictures of my motor... IT"S STOCK!!!!

i hate cops was 45 minutes late for work... even though i would only have been 5 minutes late...

That's the kind of situation when you kick the cop in the nuts, take his gun & pepper spray, spray him really badly in the eyes, as well as the throat, rin his car off the side of the road, then you'll be on your way.

That will take about 5 min, compared to you being a law abiding citizen = 45 min.

what part of sj did this happen? i got a high flow cat and cheap muffler. gets pretty loud i havent gotten pulled over yet. what does ur car look like? mines is a 93 green 4d w/ black bumper lights and black mesh in the front. and accordtuner.com decals in rear windows. r u the guy w/ the blue accord thats lowered w/ the decals on the quarter panel and the diy tails??

Here in America's Dairyland we get not shit what so ever.

City of Milwaukee cops... you practically need to be shooting at them before you get pulled over. I've rolled stop signs, sped, laid grippers, driven around with half an exhaust...

The freeways are nice too, good rule of thumb is 10 mph over the limit is safe.

And as far as emissions testing, as long as it passes, it passes. Loud or quiet.

ya i know there tring t do a job but thats just f**ed up... i got pulled over in my 81 accord and he pulled me just because my car looks like crap adn i guess he tought my car wasnt insured or not street legal... and then he walks back to my car with a ticket saying i ran a YELLOW light....

Thats why you go with the Sleeper style, or a low profile. They wont mess with you and you get the "OHSHITWTFWASTHAT" look on the guys face after you crush him.

I've had one of those yellow light incidents myself... The cop gave me a ticket in the end for not signing my driver's license.

I agree that some cops ARE total dicks. I've noticed that the majority of people who become cops were either bullies as kids, or bullied. The bullies can keep up their act, and the bullied can get their revenge. Unfortunately, we usually get the bullies, cuz they like to pick on "import kids". They're also the ones who let the American Muscle drivers get away with whatever they want.

There ARE a lot of cops that are great though. I mean, as much of a pain as they can be, they do keep us safer. Just the fact that they exist keeps people from doing a lot that they would do if they had no chance of getting caught. Not to mention, very often when we get pulled over, the cops have a reason.


In this case, I agree that that cop was a total jackass. His boss probably told him to be on the lookout for stolen engines, illegal imports, etc... He's being a suckup and trying to meet his quota. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do. He did have no true probable cause however. If your parts are CARB exempt, then he can't say anything. If you want, you could always file a suit for harassment, though it would never go through... and you'd be a target from that point on.

wow been away from the forums for only a couple of days...
i was getting on the freeway on 101 near capitol expressway going north (san jose)... and he said i was begining to speed...
i was only going fast to catch up with the other cars... i was only going like 50 (0-50 at WOT =X) so that was my mistake... but i still thought that it was stupid to get a ticket... i think i'mma fight it... and when i pass the state ref i'mma laugh at that cop...
anyone got a stock cat for sale? mines is hollowed....
