it has BA8 wrote on the heat shield on it. these didnt come in 3rd gen preludes, right? only the BB4 chassis. just want to conform b4 i open it.

The BA8 shared the same body design as the BB1/4.

It was the JDM Si model. The BA9 was the BA8, but had 4ws.

I paid just under 700 shipped for the motor so I was not really complaining much about it, just the thaught that it is a mt instead of an at. Tha's ok since next year I plain on doing a mt swap any way. The only bad point is that I have to switch some of the ac stuff since my new motor is not ac.

well tiger doesnt write any of that shit, its the motor distributers in malaysia and japan that do all that. most the time they dont even do anything but buy and ship, the sellers do all testing
