he is ok, broken nose and pinky, that was from the trailer wheels and the cops said he was dragged about 150 feet or so.

The article stated he was driving at a high rate of speed when he struck the trailer.

I'm glad he's going to be ok. He did get lucky.

But I have to ask how did the accident happen? Also what is "a high rate of speed" 70, 80, or like 100+mph. Not that I promote speeding but I think there is a big different between driving fast and driving stupid. The article makes it seem like he hit the truck and that it was his fault.

It is his fault, there is an intersection and there was a Truck or Motor home turing left and he just went on there right and floored it out of there. I believe he was doing about a 45 in a 55 mph zone. What sucked he saw it coming he hit his breaks and couldn't stop, he got caught under rear trailer wheels and was stuck for almost an hour, the cops/fire company took 20 minutes to get out there. When he got stuck under his truck was dragged about 110 to 150 feet the cops were estimating. One last thing he didnt have his seatbelt on and that saved his life, the funny thing about this was when he got hit and my boss was talking to him well he trapped in the truck he was saying my uncle going to kill me for being late and crashing his truck. He has had his license for about 6 months and has no heath insurance, so the hospital bills are adding up fast. Anyways i will try to keep you updated.

                        Exactly.

I may do 80, sometimes 90, on the highway with little to no traffic.
But put me somewhere with high traffic like in NYC and im cautious as anything.

But glad hes ok, and this is just something that happpened so he could learn from it that all.
And if he doesnt learn from this, next time is going to be worse.

The truck was doing 55 and he pulled out right into the trailer and he getting upto speed and he hit at doing 45 I haven't gotten the entire story yet because my friends still in the hospitals because they think his pain-cre-risk is bleeding, so they want to watch him like a hawk.
