This is pretty good stuff. I guess until we get a professional, we'll never know. Guess it doesnt matter either. As long as we know the parts.

I dont call Mugen anything, because its overpriced and I dont bring it up.

    I call JDM a fad.

I call Greddy, Trust. Because Greddy sounds retarded, and Trust makes Greddy. So its suiting. And it confuses the fuck out of people.

    I call JIC, garbage.

I call Tein, t-eye-n, as thats how it reads.

    I say "Tine"
    "Gee-Ready" sometimes, "Greddy"(like Freddy)
    "Moo-Gen" or "Moo-Jen"...Ive always said "Myoo-Gen"

Thats one that id like to know the proper way.

"Uh-Pex-EE" does sound retarded, but Apex sounds weird too.

Not as weird as that guy i heard. He actually pronounced the "I". Like "A-Pex-I"

I had a friend that used to call it [jee-ready]. Funny as heck, but embarassing when we went anywhere with car people, lol.

Man this thread reminds me of hearing people calling a (video card for a PC) Nvidia Geforce as "Nuh-video GetForce".

It's like watching a gangsta movie with someone saying "Conflagration". Some words are not to be uttered by the less than remotely intelligent.

I was told by a frenchman that Peugot was pronounced "Poo-Jo" with the "Jo" part being that soft J as in "Jacque" almost more of a 'shh' sound.

I've met guys that worked for Mugen. My uncle used to race for King Motorsports (who, as you may know, is the only licensed Mugen distributor in north america, at least at that time) and they informed me that it was pronounced Moo-gen with a hard G like in "goose."

Thank you for pointing out two syllables for Porsche (pet peeve to hear it with just one)

Also thank you for pointing out Scuderia is not 'skoo-duh-ree-uh' as heard the announcers of the F1 races... its like nails on a chalkboard to hear it incorrectly.
