91 for 1000

today at lunch my friend (the reason i started coming on this board)asked me if i would like to buy his car since i am in love wit cb7s. i said sure how much he said 1200 i told him id give him 1000 and he said he would do it.

its a 91 coupe auto
paint is faded and n pretty bad shape
no rust (FL)
hes the second owner
i think its all most at 200k miles
has a AEM short ram
and a str8 muffler

only prob is i just sold my mazda to my dads best friend for 1500 but he cant pay me till january the plus side is i have time to find a job and start saving up for a h22 and tranny swap.

do you guys think its a good deal for 1000?

also i was looking at an h22a from hmotorsonline.com and it says it comes with tranny but it dosent say if its auto or manny do you guys kno if they all come with either or if the buyer gets to pick?

not to fuck up a deal but 6 months ago there was a guy here in philly selling an accord for $500 and it was manual. but auto go much more than manuals.

for 1k its a semi decent deal. Personally id offer 6 or 700 since the paint is faded and high mileage. The auto will be a bit of a pain in the ass come swap time.

i kno da autos gonna be a bitch i know i gota weld a new mount on to da car but my boy got a tig welder n he knows his shit so i should be ok on that. i might go a bit down if he takes out the cd player and the 2 bazoka 12s but if he leaves it how it is i think 1000 is str8
