So I listened to the new whole album. It's pretty good. Like White Pony more than anything. They are few heavy parts. Hole in the Earth is definitely a new great one. I have to listen to the album a few more times to come to a final opinion.

Saturday Night Wrist.

final opinions? its very different, yet i still like it... its digital bathy, but not entirely as slow slow and melodic. still has chino's sharp voice.

1. hole in the earth - i like it, you can tell its their single.
2. rapture - reminds me of their older stuff.
6. UUDDLRLRSS - i love it. oddball with no lyrics, im so happy they put this on the disc.
7. xerces - rolls right in after track 6 and goes into a good song.

pink cellphone is the other oddball, very weird track. especially the end.

ill be honest, havent touched it since the first day. i am SO not a true fan.

ive been on a metal-binge lately and havent really given it an honest listen. ill do so by the end of the week and report back to you. deal?

Minerva - awesome song, can really hear hints of Change in it.

I think the new one's good. Forget comparing it to their first 2 albums but I would say it's better than their last. I would say it's solid.
Hole in the Earth is my favorite song. I don't think many of them are gonna be ones I play again and again like I do to Knife Party, Change, Digital Bath.
There's nothing overly heavy here, not that I expact that.
For some reason I feel like I should play this album at night.

i like the cd, sort of like a mix between the deftones and lunatic calm... at least some of the songs remind me of them. its a cool cd to chill out to.

thats the best part of that song. from 2:00 - 3:00 is probably one of my fav parts of their older stuff.
