I'm finally graduating...

After 6 and a half long clueless years, I'm finally getting out of school! I plan on going to graduate school locally, but I have no set direction just yet.

After this Fall semester, ending late December, I will finally have my bachelors degree in psychology completed. I already hold an associates in business from community college (fairly useless).

Hopefully I'll be able to find a good job! Waiting tables for slave wages really isn't cutting it!



Just thought I'd share. I just got everything approved the other day, so I'm all excited

Yeah, my mom is definitely happy... and my stepdad might even pay for grad school. He's never given me a thing in my life, but he thinks it's important. I guess that means I don't have to find a job that offers tuition reimbursement now My original plan was to either work a few years and save, or find a job that would pay for it, but if I can get a free ride, then I'll take it! I might see if I can work some scholarships as well. I'm graduating with high honors (3.75+) if I can maintain As and B+s this semester, so maybe someone will want me bad enough.

Yeah, pushin my way through community college was a bitch... I paid for everything out of pocket, and I had no idea why I was even there. Rutgers wasn't so bad, since I had some direction. Books were killer though. This semester's classes alone cost about $600. I took 5 out of 6 classes with my girlfriend so we could split the cost of books down the middle (luckily the one class I didn't take with her didn't need a book!) Still... $300! That's all I need after I sell my rims to buy new ones!

I wish... I have papers due on those books... And I'm pushing for a 4.0 semester, so I kinda need to do things right. Of course, I never do anything "right" and I always come out on top anyway...
