Thanx for the side comparo pic!Originally posted by gloryaccordy View PostI know we are in a recession, but one day you should try to scoop up the JDM nose
(JDM nose on top)

I've been searching for this all along!
The JDM (and rest of the world) Fit/Jazz looks just that bit cuter with it's shorter fron overhang.
GE1 (JDM) vs GE8 (USDM). different car as well.
And here is a MalaysiaDM Jazz (Grade V has the wing mirror indicators)

An amazing fact about the Grade V Jazz here is that it is exactly a thousand bucks cheaper than the FD1 Civic beside it
Which is not a good thing. Small car, big price. Wont sell.Last edited by blizzard335; 10-15-2008, 08:51 AM.

The JDM front end may not fit on the USDM car, though. The US model may have been elongated for safety reasons. I know Toyota did it to the Altezza when they brought it here as the IS300. The IS is longer.
I WOULD like to do some JDM modifications to it, though.
I've already seen another white 09 on the road!
And Nutbucket... yeah, I remember quite a bit
I'll probably get a LGT down the road, as they're really classy, powerful cars (if I don't go BMW, that is). Cheap is definitely the name of the game now, though! I get a greater thrill from seeing an $18 fillup after a full day of driving than I ever did from the supercharger's punch in the GTP
I'm also heading back to grad school after a 3 year break... may even be 4 by the time I get there. Should be fun...
I did get a 100,000 mile warranty, but that'll be done before the car is 1/3 of the way paid off. It's a Honda, so it's unlikely to break severely before 100,000... but it's a new design, so I wanted to be safe. There's a lot different in this one from the previous model. I don't want to mod it and risk making it unreliable. If I keep doing this job through school, I'm looking at AT LEAST 300,000 miles. Probably closer to 400,000.

Yeah, I probably could've afforded the Sport, but I didn't need to. I don't NEED anything that it has to offer... I'd just like it! Rather than roll it into the cost of the car, I'd rather pick up the parts to convert it to Sport as I go. That way, I'm only paying for it when I can afford it!
I've got my Accords, my house, my dog... and a job that is very good right now... but nothing is guaranteed. I'm also looking to go back to school next fall. The goal was to keep it as cheap as possible!
When I can spend real money on a car, I'll probably get what you have
Legacy GT, right?
Still looking to come to rowan when you come back to school???

Possibly. I'm checking out a few schools. Rowan, Rutgers, Widener, Rider, even Princeton and UPenn (I could probably get in if I took the GREs again... just dunno if I could pay for those!) The first thing to see is who will throw money at me. Next is to go with what I can afford. I don't need a great program... I plan on developing my own style anyway. I just need the qualifications to be able to practice!

That's saved for the Accords
I just put some Pennzoil Platinum (synthetic) in the Fit today, and cleaned her up nice. Did a little photoshoot, too... pics will be up later.
The synthetic oil actually seems to give it a little more zip, at least over the old oil that was in it from the factory (I had JDM oil all over my hands today...
)
HIDs and a K&N filter are coming soon. Wheels and Sport kit to follow. After that, it'll stay stock. At least until stuff starts to break. I don't plan on any engine mods, or suspension mods. I need 400,000 miles out of this thing, and I need to do it getting 40mpg!
