Yes, my sig is 4 pixels smaller than the allowed size. When choosing a picture, I purposely chose one within the size limit that has been posted for about 3 years now (the height has never been greater that 300 pixels... I did just officially increase the width to 800 from 500.)

As for your sig, when I asked you to change it, you simply told me that it has always been that size. It did not change, you saw my request, and ignored it. Therefore, I simply assumed that your claim that the sig had always been that size was your defense, and you felt that was good enough. Therefore, I disabled your ability to have a sig altogether. If you can't follow the rules, you can't have the privilege.

Yes, there are still some bigger than allowed. And you know what? I ask them to make it smaller as I see them, and when they do not, they lose their ability to have a sig, just as you did. This is nothing personal against you, and you are not unique in this. You are not the first, and certainly won't be the last. I like you, Larry. You've been a member here for a long time, you have a killer car, you're helpful, and an inspiration to us all. I gave you more of a chance than I have given most people. However, the rules apply to everyone.

Sure... but it's annoying as hell.

I think i know why noobs do that, cause they might think that a sig was just a posted picture, im like wtf? why would you post a pic of your car in a ________ thread? ...''doesnt everyone post a pic after they post?''

Or they've figured out the add a picture feature, but not the sig feature. I need to disable the "attach image" function. It only hogs server bandwidth, and people are always bitching because they want to attach oversized pics.

Actually Deev, my pc atomatically shrinks it to size. So what may look like a huge pic to you, looks just like everyone elses to me. Maybe thats what oneoffaccord is referring to.

I deleted mine because you requested a size adjustment. Am I the only one experiencing this?

I've never known any web browser to shrink a signature posted on a forum to a smaller size. Before the update, Accord R33 had modified the code to cut signatures off at the required size. Oversized sigs simply got cut down. That went away with the update, however. Rather than ask him to fix it again, I'd rather have people actually follow the rules.

The size limitations are for both images AND text. Too many people here have images that are 250 pixels tall, and then add another 10 lines of text below.

There are some that are SLIGHTLY over that I tolerate. Others are grossly oversized, and it's very irritating. Read the post, scroll down... see a HUGE sig... continue scrolling. If the member posts multiple times in a thread, it gets very tiring.

If this continues to be an issue, I will simply do away with signatures altogether. It really doesn't bother me to do so. I've already done so for Beginners, and I'm working on finding a way to make it so they can't even view signatures (I've come across a few "thought to be private" visitor messages between Beginners and regular members regarding items for sale... and I'm not happy about it.)

300 pixels is huge. Alot of other forums limit it down to 100 pixels.

I could make it 1000x1000 and people would still go over... and bitch about it.
