$750 Cb7!

ok guys my girlfriend just picked a bordeux red 93 cb7 LX for 750 bucks! it needs a new water pump due to the fact that the one on it is leaking. (quick question about that.... once the water pumps begin to wear out do they leak from a eyelet on the pump?) but other than that it needs a lil work but nothing major. its only got 138k on it too!

She is a very lucky young lady to get such a great price. Well with 138K miles, if it was original then it is time to do a water pump, gaskets, balance shaft belt, and timing belt. Just do all the the preventive maintanence on that F22A will last a long time. Also while you have it in the shop....do the valve adjustment... Use synthetic 10W40 if she can afford it.. Mobil 1 has a motor guarantee, please check it out. Water Pumps usually get shaft play and cause irregular wear and start to leak. Sometimes, heat finally take its toll and gaskets leak..
