Well since the snow is coming and I usually store my car for the winter, I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to keep driving my car in the winter? First of all, I know salt is terrible for the car, but I plan on having body work done next summer, the only thing I am concerned about on my car in the winter is my intercooler rusting away. If I do decide to drive it in the winter I would have it sprayed/undercoated with oil, and I was wondering if I had my intercooler sprayed with oil and I kept the car clean throughout the winter would the intercooler still rust away in just 1 winter? Anyone know the possibility of this happening?

Actually my question wasn't concerning the car, it was concerning my FMIC and whether the salt will corrode it during the winter even if I get it oiled...but thanks for letting me know what year car I driveOriginally posted by ChIoVnIdCa View PostYou drive a 1992 Accord.. Its ment to be driven in the winter.. Just keep it clean during the winter... You can get a oil coating for the winter but the ones that work well are illegal. It wont rot away in one winter.
