    :Brake Light Button Trick:

Not sure if its the right place if not can a mod move it to where it belongs. I'm looking for the thread where you wire your barke lights to only work when you turn the cruise control button on. I've searched for 30 mins and nothing. I'm interested in doing this since I don't have crusie control. Thanks.

Are you talking about the tail light kill swith DIY? Where you wire you tail lights to the cruise button so it's not a cruise button, it's a tail lights work vs. no tail lights button?

Sounds like a great way to get a ticket.

Sounds like a great way to get into an accident, too. Why would anyone do this?

its in the DIY section. It was posted by RockinRicer back when thats what he was called.

I tried to follow it. It wasnt complete. I tried to figure it out, and i think I did, I just didnt do it because it was nowhere near my car priorities at the time.

I have to admit, there are times when I pass a cop going faster than I should be (or I don't know how fast I should be going) and I don't want him to see that I'm obviously slowing down. That's like shouting "I WAS SPEEDING!!!"

I'd like to do the reverse as well... have them come on with a button push, without actually braking. Great way to brake check people without really having to risk them rear-ending you.
